I now have a C drive with a little over 100GB of free space (before it had under 5GB on a 105 GB drive) Then I installed the SSD, formatted it and will use it for photo editing and video editing. I ended up adding more space to the C partition using EaseUS free version. Long convoluted process but I am back and in good shape now. Then I fixed the boot using Boot-repair disk after downloading a copy of Linux, installing it on a USB stick, then disconnecting the SSD and booting to the USB. I was able to boot onto that drive and I was able to recover the D partition using TestDisk. So I then installed my 240GB SSD that I had in my laptop and with two versions of Mint on it. ![]() I was trying to add more space to C drive by freeing up space to the right of C drive on Disk manager. I made a big mistake and deleted my D Partition (windows), one of the partitions on that drive and then couldn't boot to windows or Linux.
